Yeah...we mostly lose to the Bills. However, we are coming off two tough loses and we can't erase a 3-0 start with a 3rd straight loss. We are back at home playing a 1-4 Bills team that can't do anything right. If I was a betting man, I'd put my money on the Jets. I'm just glad I'm not a betting man.

Fish Cause Jets Crash !

The Jets were entering the game 3-1 against the Dolphins who were in a "must-win" situation and wearing their UGLY orange shirts. They had a quarterback playing that was even more unexperienced in the NFL than Sanchez. They have a pot head as a running back. We were pissed coming off a loss last week. But, it's Monday Night and as Jets fans know, MNF hasn't always been kind to the Jets less a few specific games.

I'm not sure where to even begin. The offense looked much better as we now have another target in Braylon Edwards to throw too. He looked great hauling in 5 catches with one going for a TD and it looked like he should have had a 2nd for a touchdown as well. Our running game was okay but we just don't get enough yards on 1st down. Sanchez looked much better and more comfortable with his new wide receiver. It was great to see a tall receiver jump up and haul in some catches that would be to high for our other receivers. Sanchez also threw a nice bomb to David Clowney for a huge gain. However, two of the drives were extended that probably shouldn't have been. One was our punter not sure if he should kick it and was able to run for a first down to keep a drive alive instead of punting. Another situation was a direct snap to Brad Smith how somehow was able to change directions and dart forward for a first down to keep another drive alive. If you take away those two strange plays, we'd have less points on the board.

The story of the game was our defense, or lack thereof. How many long drives did the Dolphins have? I think they started the game with a 8 minute drive to go ahead 7 - 0. They had another 8 minute drive later in the game and ended the game with a 5 plus minute drive. We couldn't stop the wildcat. We couldn't stop regular formation. We couldn't get pressure on an unexperienced quarterback. We couldn't stop Ronnie and Ricky (sounds like 2/3rds of Bel Biv Devoe). And, the passing game just ate us apart.

We were coached poorly down the stretch not using any time outs to have time on the clock if Miami scored. The sad part is that we were up and let them drive to score the winning touchdown with 6 seconds left. You gotta call Time Outs and even if they score, you have more than 6 seconds left. What is worse is that they started that last drive on their own 30 yard line and went 70 yards. How can you let that team have a drive like that? Were they not prepared? Hell, we had Calvin Pace back so we should have been even stronger on defense that we were the first four weeks when our defense was unstoppable. We gave up 413 yards and gave up 3rd down conversions 9 of 14 times. That's pathetic.

Not sure what else to say. We got our asses kicked by an inferior team. They better turn it around against the Bills or their 3-0 start would have been erased.

What the Jets have gotten from dealing with the Browns

Mark Sanchez, quarterback: The Sanchise won the job in training camp and, despite some rookie mistakes, has the Jets 3-1 and tied for first place in the AFC East.

Braylon Edwards, receiver: He had off-the-field problems and was erratic in the Browns' offense, but he's the big-play receiver the Jets were lacking.

What the Browns have gotten from dealing with the Jets

Brett Ratliff, quarterback: He's third on the depth chart behind Derek Anderson and Brady Quinn.

Chansi Stuckey, receiver: Stuckey was the Jets' No. 2 receiver, but didn't seize the job out of camp as much as he was a better option than David Clowney.

Jason Trusnik, linebacker: A depth player and special-teamer, he was undrafted out of Division III Ohio Northern and has an injury history.

Abram Elam, safety: Elam starts for the Browns but would have been a backup for the Jets behind Kerry Rhodes and Jim Leonhard.

Kenyon Coleman, defensive end: Coleman starts for the Browns.

17th overall draft pick (Sanchez trade): The Browns turned another trade, giving the pick to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who took quarterback Josh Freeman, for picks Nos. 19 and 191. The Browns then dealt No. 19 to the Philadelphia Eagles for Nos. 21 and 195.

The Browns drafted starting center Alex Mack at No. 19, cornerback Coye Francies at No. 191 and running back James Davis at No. 195. Francies is a backup, while Davis is on injured reserve after a promising preseason.

52nd overall draft pick (Sanchez trade): The Browns kept the pick and selected defensive end David Veikune, who now is a backup inside linebacker.

Jets Trade For Headcase

Looks like we got ourselves a receiver despite being a headcase:

10/07 — The Jets announced this morning that they have reached an agreement in principle to acquire Browns WR Braylon Edwards in exchange for WR Chansi Stuckey, LB Jason Trusnik and undisclosed draft choices. More to Come…

Edwards, in his fifth pro season, is a downfield threat who's averaged 15.5 yards a reception in his career. The 6'3", 215-pounder had 55 receptions last season for 873 yards and three touchdowns. And he had a phenomenal '07 season, catching 80 balls for 1,289 yards and 16 touchdowns.

Before the deal, Stuckey was considered the Jets' No. 2 receiver and had 11 catches for 120 yards with a touchdown in the Jets' 3-1 start. A seventh round pick out of Clemson in 2007, Stuckey missed that '07 campaign with a foot injury. Stuck, playing primarily the slot role before moving outside this fall, had 32 receptions in '08 for 359 yards. He also caught a TD in each of his first three games, becoming the first active player to achieve that milestone since 2002.

Trusnik is a former undrafted free agent who carved a role for himself in the NFL. After the Jets' Week 3 win over the Tennessee Titans, the 6'4", 250-pound reserve 'backer was named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week. In that contest, Trusnik forced a fumble on Ryan Mouton and recovered it, and had a first quarter tackle on kickoff coverage.

Jets Players Now Cold-Calling Strangers To Talk Trash

NEW YORK--The brash, bold New York Jets have been talking trash with their opponents all season long, but now they seem to have taken their jawing to the next level. According to several reports from around the nation, Rex Ryan’s boys have been cold-calling total strangers to engage in smack talk with them.

Victims called in to sports-talk radio shows to report their experiences.

“I just got a call from some guy named Bart Scott,” said Susan Muldowney, 43, of King of Prussia, PA. “He was like, ‘Susan Muldowney? This is Bart Scott from the New York Jets.’ And I’m like ‘Yea?’ And he’s like ‘We’re the best team in football right now.’ And I’m like ‘Okay.’ And he’s like ‘You got a problem with that?’ And I’m like ‘I have something on the stove.’ And he’s like ‘It’s probably disgusting. I wouldn’t eat it if I was starving to death, bitch.’ Then he hung up on me.”

Muldowney called the encounter “a little annoying,” but admitted that she respected coach Rex Ryan for “changing the culture in the Jets locker room.”

Another victim, Eric Lynch, 33, of Sacramento, California, reported receiving a phone call from a man named Kerry Rhodes. According to Lynch, Rhodes called him “soft” and told him he would “rip his head off” if he ever came over the middle.

“I didn’t know what beef this guy had with me, but he was pissed, ” Lynch said. “He was like 'I'm coming after you, bitch! Ima knock your fucking head off!’ I was rather alarmed and threatened to call the authorities, but he said he would knock their heads off, too. Then when he found out I was from Sacramento, he was like, ‘Screw you, towel head. America rules!' That’s when I figured out who he was. Stupidity? Check. Confusion? Check. Testosterone-fueled rage? Check. Yea, this guy is an NFL player.”

One caller, a 66-year-old woman from Sterling Heights, Michigan who wished to remain anonymous, described a voice mail that Bart Scott left on her answering machine.

“He told me the Jets defense was going to break all my bones and then eat them and then shit them out and send the shit in a box to my mother and then go after her like a pack of wild dogs and rip the flesh off her bones and mix it in with the shit and make stew out of it and eat the stew,” the woman said. “I mean, that’s pretty harsh stuff, but as long as they can back it up on the field you can’t really criticize.”

When questioned about his players’ harassment of strangers, Rex Ryan said he had no problem with the practice as long as they “walked the walk” on Sundays.

“Hey, I don’t have a problem with it,” Ryan said. “We’re a confident bunch and we’re not afraid to throw down the gauntlet. Whether it’s an opposing team or some old lady on the phone, we’re not about to back down from anyone. You got a problem with that, faggot? I didn’t think so.”

Rhodes also refused to back down from his incendiary comments.

“I’m not backing down from nothing,” Rhodes said. “I meant what I said. We’re violent. We’re angry. But mostly importantly? We’re 3-1. Does anybody want to dispute that? Does anybody want to engage in some trash talking? Anyone? I didn’t think so. See, that’s why I have to resort to calling strangers on the phone. Everybody else is starting to get bored with this shit.”

Jets Suffer 1st Loss

My Monday Morning QB says that yesterday's game will help Sanchez in the future as he hopefully learns from his mistakes and there were many of them - 3 interceptions and a fumble. I didn't know if I was watching Mark Sanchez or the return of Bubby Brister. I knew this game was going to happen but it still sucks the same.

After being down 3-0, we were driving to take the lead. I saw a man open across the middle but Sanchez tried to squeeze in a ball between two defenders and got the TD; however, it was after a 99 yard run in the wrong direction. Ouch. Instead of being up 7-3 or even tied at 3-3, we were now down 10-0. That hurt.

Things then got worse when we were pinned deep in our own end, Sanchez goes back in his own endzone, doesn't feel any pressure, sack, fumble, TD ! Ouch. That really hurts. Now we were down 17-0. The offensive line didn't help the situation as we were constantly under pressure a lot of the game giving up 4 sacks in the process. Don't we have 3 Pro-Bowl players on the OL ?

We finally had a nice little drive but it only resulted in 3 points partly due to some weak play calling as we neared the red zone. Okay...down only 2 scores going into half-time and we get the ball to start the half. Still, we were on the road against a good team and it was not going to be easy. Unfortunately, we didn't do anything with the ball to start the half.

However, after Bryan Thomas forced a fumble on the Saint's 34, we had a chance to make this a game again after Thomas Jones darted for a 15 yard run. Okay...we were now down a touchdown and the Defense really stepped up their game.

What drove me crazy is that every time we got the ball back, at least for three or four consecutive drives, it seems like we were third and short every time and couldn't convert the 1st down forcing us to punt. Some of the play calling was odd. Just get the first down and stop doing fancy stuff. A few of the plays we get screwed where the defender was on our backs and didn't get the call but when you are down and need a first down, we need better play calling.

The defense played well covering their receivers with another solid game by Revis but why couldn't we stop this Pierre Thomas guy. He ran all over us. What drove me bananas was on the drive that they put the icing on the cake, it was 4th and 1 and Kris Jenkins went off-sides. What a backbreaker for the D that played so well. They held the top rated offense to just 10 points. We had a nice goal line stance and also stopped the saints on two 4th and 1 plays. You can't complain much about the defense except for stopping the running game and the one really bad off-sides. Heck, we stopped Drew Brees who was only 20 for 32 for 190 yards and no TDs.

I know we are now 3-1 entering the easier part of our schedule but man, imagine the statement we could have had if we were to play better on offense and win this game as the defense did their job. But, if you go 3-1, three more times, that's 12-4 and I would be happy as a fly on shit if that happened.

Bring on the Dolphins next Monday night. The Jets are pissed off and ready to fry some fish !

2. Sanchez's 27.0 passer rating was the lowest by a Jets starter since a 21.1 by Chad Pennington on Oct. 29, 2006, at Cleveland.

The New York Jets won the franchise's second Super Bowl last Sunday, topping the New England Patriots 16-9 in Week 2 NFL action.

"I told these guys that if they don't limit themselves and set their goals high, they can accomplish anything," said Jets head coach Rex Ryan. "But even I didn't really believe we could win the Super Bowl this year. Not in September."

The victory means rookie quarterback Mark Sanchez, playing just his second regular season game, has now won a Super Bowl quicker than any other quarterback in league history.

"This is an amazing feeling," said Sanchez. "And it all happened so fast. It seemed like just weeks ago we were at camp, and now we're celebrating our Super Bowl win. I don't even know what to do next. I guess take a few weeks off and then start getting ready for next season."

Jets officials say they are working with New York City and New Jersey officials to help schedule a parade for the team later this week.

"There's no plan in place right now. This was kind of unexpected," said New York mayor Michael Bloomberg. "But we had a huge turnout for the Giants parade two years ago and we expect even more for the Jets parade because the weather is so much warmer."

While the Jets are celebrating their Super Bowl win, the Patriots are trying to put their performance behind them.

"We have to treat this loss as though it was just any other game," said head coach Bill Belichick. "Because it was. We have 14 more regular season games, then three weeks of playoffs and then, if we're fortunate, the Super Bowl."

The loss to the Jets dropped Belichick's career record in Super Bowls he knows about to 3-1 and Super Bowls he is unaware he is playing in to 34-2.

Please Not The Giants !

Watching the Jets for the last 39 years, most of us should know that a good start has lead to heartbreak.

Hypothetically speaking, if the Jets were to have one of those Magical years and make it to the Super Bowl, the last team I'd want to play is the Giants.

And NO, it's not because they scare me.

It's because they've been to 4 and have won 3 of them

In my lifetime, the Jets have been to ZERO.

I would not want to share a Jets Super Bowl day with the Giants.

We've waited too long to share the day with a local team.

I want the backpages to be all NY Jets.

I want the talk radio to be all Gang Green.

I want the TV news to be all about OUR team.

I would be SICK to my stomach to have to share the day that I've been waiting for my entire life with that team I loathe that we share a stadium with.

And, would would ever happen if we were to lose the game to the Giants?

They'd be celebrating their 4th Championship and we'd have our drought extended.

The worst day in my sports life was watching the Giants beat the undefeated Patriots in the Super Bowl.

Losing to the Giants in the Super Bowl would be 100X worse if it were to ever happen.

Again, 3 wins to start a season does not a Super Bowl make, but if, by chance, we finally have that year we've all been waiting for, PLEASE let it be against any other team than the Giants so we could have our 2 weeks of glory leading up to the game and not have to share it with anyone !

What Is Rex Cooking?

Not sure what Rex's game plan is but we need to keep Brees under constant pressure and continue to blitz. If we can stop the high powered Saints offense, this could turn out to be a magical year !

Rookie Of The Week Honors...Again !

For the third week in a row QB Mark Sanchez has been nominated for Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week honors.

He completed 17 of 30 passes for 171 yards and two touchdowns in the Jets' 24-17 win over Tennessee, becoming the first rookie quarterback to start and win his team's first three games of a season in the past 40 years. The other finalists are QB Matthew Stafford of the Detroit Lions, WR Percy Harvin of the Minnesota Vikings, RB Knowshon Moreno of the Denver Broncos and RB Donald Brown of the Indianapolis Colts.

Sanchez has won Rookie of the Week honors in Week #1 and #2 so far this season.

Good thing is that I haven't seen anything "DIRTY" on the field !

3-0 Baby !

Another big game was here for the Jets. They were facing the 0-2 desperate Titans who needed a win. The Jets were coming off an emotional win which in the past now meant "Letdown."

However, its a new Era and that "letdown" never happened.

Things were looking great in the 1st quarter taking a quick 14-0 lead on their first two possessions. I loved that they came out in a no-huddle offense to throw the Titans defense a bit off guard.

I hated that we were in Blue and Gold looking like Michigan. Were we watching Gang Green or Big Blue? Who the hell were we playing? Is tihs Michigan vs. North Carolina? I hate these retro uniforms. We are a Green and White team...let's keep it that way.

I loved that our special teams were so aggressive and recovered two muffs by their punt return team. Jason Trusnik had a great game on special teams.

I hated the ENTIRE second quarter where Sanchez (17 for 30, 171 yards) looked lost throwing some horrible balls, fumbling twice, etc.... At least Thomas Jones recovered one of the fumbles.

I hated the penalities. There were two big plays where holding was called expecially on the play where Sanchez was a receiver and caught the ball for a long first down. People please: STOP HOLDING.

I loved Sanchez's run towards the endzone which he thought quick about. I hated that he risked almost blowing out his shoulder trying to get into the endzone instead of sliding for the first down.

I loved that Ben Hartsock caught a TD. Who the hell is Bed Hartsock?

I hated the start of the 3rd quarter where we still looked lost. We only had 3 first downs in the 2nd and 3rd quarters.

I hated how we blew a 14 point lead and now trailed 17-14.

I loved how Sanchez regained his composure and took advantage of a Titans special teams turnover and throw a TD pass to Cotchery (8 catches for 108 yards).

I loved how the writers said that Cotchery is NOT a #1 receiver and if you look at his numbers, they are pretty damn good. He has 18 catches for 285 yards and a TD in three game.

I hated being nervous again for the entire 4th quarter knowing what was on the line.

I loved David Harris having another great game with an interception and a huge sack.

I loved the defense, even though they finally gave up a few TDs, they held Kerry Collins to 0 yards passing in the 4th quarter including incompletions on his final 13 throws of the game.

Love how the defense is playing and Calvin Pace still has one more game to go before his return.

1. Sanchez's rushing TD was the longest by a Jets quarterback since Richard Todd in 1980.

2. The Jets 3-0 start is only the 4th time in franchise history.

3. Sanchez became the first in history to go 3-0 at the start of season.

Changing Of The Guard

Hmmmmmm...Jets are 2-0. Patriots are 1-1. I likey!

Undefeated !

Well, it was our Home Opener vs our most hated division Rivals - The Patriots. It's been almost a decade since we beat the Patriots at home losing 8 straight, the longest home losing streak to a single team in Jets history. This had been a heated rivalry from the days when Parcells quit in New England to come to the Jets, stealing Curtis Martin and then Belicheck quitting as HC of the NYJ after a few hours. Then, the Mangini vs. Belichick wars which lead to Spygate. It doesn't help that this team had won 3 Super Bowls (should have been 4 during that almost perfect season). So, this has been a huge rivalry and both teams were coming in to the game undefeated at 1-0 with the winner taking sole possession of first place.

The Jets attitude has changed. Rex Ryan didn't want to "kiss Belicheck's rings." Kerry Rhodes had said he wanted to embarrass the Patriots. And Rex Ryan sent out a call to every season ticket holder to tell them to be loud.

If you look at Jets history, this is a game we lose. We have a rookie Head Coach, a rookie quarterback, a home opener vs our rivals, and high expectations. This mostly results in a heartbreaking loss. However, this is a new regime and it's amazing how times have quickly changed.

The crowd was loud to start the game with the J-E-T-S chant rocking the stadium and the yelling and screaming of DEFENSE when the Patriots offense was on the field.

The game started out ugly as our offense couldn't get in sync. It started out where Sanchez got sacked early. We had some terrible penalities. Leon Washington fumbled. It was ugly. It wasn't until sometime in the middle of the 2nd quarter when we got our first 1st down. It was so ugly that we had a total of 57 yards of offense in the entire first half while the Patriots were well over 150 yards of offense.

Since the offense was stalling only managing to get a field goal, our defense kept us in the game holding the Patriots to just 9 points (or 3 field goals) in the first half. We put a lot of pressure on the quarterback up the middle causing many of Brady's throws to be off target.

In the 2nd half, the Jets came out with a new offense game plan after a nice 45 yard kickoff return from Leon Washington and walked right down the field with a 45 yard reception for Cotchery and then ending with a Sanchez pass to Dustin Keller in the endzone. All of a sudden, the Jets were winning. It's amazing how the offense changed when they allowed Sanchez to throw the ball a bit more often. Man, this guy has an arm. Sanchez finished 14 for 22 for 163 yards, 1 TD and NO interceptions. I'll take it ! However, I do wish we'd run the ball better plus have better play calling on 1st down. Seemed like we were always 2nd and long.

The defense really buckled down in the 2nd half. Darelle Revis made an incredible interception beating Randy Moss to a bomb. This is the 2nd week in a row that Revis shut down a Pro-Bowl receiver. Moss ended up with 4 catches for 24 yards. But, I think the play of the game was when Brady throw a pass in the endzone to a wide open Joey Galloway and out of no where came Lito Sheppard diving in front to deflect the ball away. Amazing.

However, the defense had help. Yes, it was the fans who rocked the stadium to loudness I haven't ever heard inside the stadium before. Three of the four delay of games were caused by the fans cheering. There were also plays that were rushed with 1 second left on the play clock. Some players said after the game that they have never heard it that loud inside the stadium as well. This loudness, combined with the defense that hit Brady seven times, was one of the huge keys to victory. Rex Ryan even game a game ball to the fans which is unheard of if you are a Jets ticket holder. And that lead the defense to pitching a 2nd half shut-out. It was the 2nd straight week where the defense has NOT even allowed a touchdown. Wow...we have a REAL defense.

The Jets scored two more field goals to build a 7 point lead and the Defense took over. The Patriots had the ball back with about 1:48 minutes to go and the defense held its own stopping the Patriots for 4 straight plays to seal the victory.

Some negatives. Jim Leonhard got hurt so hopefully he's okay. Shawn Ellis looked a bit rusty but I'm sure he'll get it going. We still have two more games left to play before Calvin Pace comes back and that should make our defense even stronger. There were way too many penalties for the 2nd week in a row.

There was coaches decision I didn't like. The Patriots punted and we had the ball on the 34 yardline after a facemask penalty. Instead of keeping the ball on the 34, the Jets elected to have the Pats re-kick and then we started with the ball on the 15 yard line. I think you shouldn't take chances on a punt as too many bad things can happen. Keep the ball next time especially if you are on the 34 yard line !

SOME GOOD NOTES:

1. Mark Sanchez, is now 2-0 as an NFL quarterback.

2. The Jets defense held Brady (23-for-47, 216 yards) under 50% for only the second time in his last 22 games.

3. The Jets held the Patriots to three field goals, the first time since 1993 the Jets have gone back-to-back games without allowing a defensive touchdown - the 1st time they've ever done this over the first two games of the season.

4. The Jets broke Brady's 20 game regular-season winning streak.

5. The Jets caused the Patriots to go 0 for 3 in the red zone for the first time since 2003.

6. Rex Ryan named his three captains for the game: Larry Izzo, Damien Woody, and Kevin O'Donnell. All three were Ex-Patriots. Love it !

7. Brady finished without passing for a TD for just the 3rd time in his last 21 games.

Crush Em' !

Personally, I like that the Jets are trash-talking. Yeah, it may be a bit much but it shows that they are confident and that Coach Ryan's agressiveness has rubbed off on the gang gree.

You want to beat the Pats? Hit Brady over and over again. Continue to blitz and knock him down. He's no young chicken anymore and is much more fragile so break him in two !

The Rookie

QB Mark Sanchez among the nominees for the Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Weekly.

Sanchez recorded the third most passing yards in NFL history for a rookie in Week One with 272 yards completing 18 of 31 passes with one touchdown and one interception for a passer rating of 84.3 in the Jets' 24 - 7 win over the Houston Texans. Sanchez led a Jets offense that gained a total 462 yards and controlled the ball for nearly 39 minutes.

The Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week will be announced Friday evening on NFL.com/rookies. After the regular season, five players will be nominated for Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Year honors.

Sanchez Leads Jets To Victory !

The Jets were starting on the road against an up and coming Texans Team. We had a rookie Head Coach, a rookie quarterback, and a revamped defense. All the cards were not in our favor heading into the game. However, by the time the game was over, we looked like there is a light at the end of the tunnel and the new Era of the Jets have begun.

Sanchez showed such poise in his NFL debut. He bad a few bad throws that could have resulted in intereceptions but he shrugged it off and looked like a veteran leading the Jets to a 24-7 victory over Houston. And he was amazing on 3rd down where I think he was maybe 9 of 11 passing on 3rd down conversions. This guy is a rookie? He passed for 272 yards and a touch down. Yeah, he had an interception too which lead to Houston's only score of the game but that will happen as he learns how to play in the NFL. He lead the offense the entire game keeping the ball for 38:46 of the 60:00 minutes. His first TD throw was a beautiful line drive to Chansi Stucky for 30 yards.

The running game was solid but it took a while for Thomas Jones to get started and when he finally did, he had two long runs of 30 yards or more to end with over 100 yards (107) and two touchdowns. Leon Washington was all over the place making runs and catches. This guy is going to be a major weapon this year.

And how about our defense? They were amazing and will get even better once Ellis and Pace are back in the lineup from their suspensions. How about this stat: Houston's offense got past midfield just once in 3 quarters. They only gave us 183 total yards to this "high powered" offense giving our offense time to rack up 462 yards. Bart Scott started things off squashing Schawb on his first pass as he released the ball. Jenkins was a monster out there as well as David Harris. We were just blitzing all over the place and putting such pressure on the QB. And Houston couldn't run either. They had just 38 yards rushing the entire game. Their two big stars - Steve Slaton was held to 17 yards, while Andre Johnson had just 35 yards receiving due to Revis blanketing him. And this Defense is just beginning. As they gel and learn the system, they are going to get even better and better. When was the last time you saw the Jets win the coin flip and defer to get their defense on the field first?

What I loved is how we responded after the big Sanchez mistake in the 4th quarter where we gave them 7 points. Jones had a nice 38 yard run and a few plays later, we scored again to solidify the lead. And who says we don't have any receivers. Cotchery had 6 catches for 90 yards, Stucky had 4 catches for 64 yards, and Keller had 4 catches for 94 yards. Yeah, Brad Smith dropped another easy catch and I am not a fan of him on the receiving end as another year of dropped passes is unacceptable.

So, it was a great start for Gang Green. We have another challenge this Sunday when the Patriots come into the Swamp. If we play like we did, maybe the tides will turn in the AFC East this year !
