Cant's and Can's

Cant’s:


- Can’t run the ball.

- Can’t block and open up holes to run.

- Can’t protect the quarterback.

- Can’t throw above the defense (too many tipped balls)

- Can’t throw to wide open receivers

- Can’t give the QB time to throw the ball

- Can’t run the correct routes

- Can’t catch the ball

- Can’t ground and pound

- Can’t control the ball or the line of scrimmage

- Can’t run a wildcat that fools anyone

- Can’t manage 2nd half time-outs

- Can’t keep their players healthy

- Can’t blame Wayne Hunter anymore

- Can’t feel the pressure from opposing pass rushers

- Can’t avoid the sack or throw away the ball

- Can’t hold onto the ball once hit

- Can’t fool anyone with their offensive play calling

- Can’t hold on to an onsides kick that lands right in your hands

- Can’t stop the run

- Can’t stop the pass

- Can’t pass rush

- Can’t tackle

- Can’t overcome mistakes

- Can’t count how many men are on the field (12 is one too many !)

- Can’t score from three yards out

- Can’t keep a drive alive unless there is a fake punt

- Can’t get first downs. (seems like they are always a half yard short or less)

- Can’t draft an impact player of late

- “Can’t Wait !”

- Can’t afford to go any longer without a signing a veteran receiver.


Can’s:

- Can definitely run the ball for 1 or 2 yards on 1st down.

- Can run a kickoff back for a TD

- Can disappoint and frustrate fans

- Can throw mind-boggling interceptions

- Can ruin the flow for either quarterback with the in and out nonsense

- Can fumble after the sack very well

- Can drop balls and an amazing rate

- Can watch running backs have career days each week

- Can kick field goals

- Can TALK well about being a “ground and pound” team

- Can go 3 and out very well
