Chad Named Starter

I guess Chad being named Opening Day Starter is better than it being Patrick Ramsey. Chad has leadership and is somewhat accurate. Wish he had a stronger arm with a bit more zip on the ball but with a young OL and no running game, I guess his experience will help the team through this season that probably will be pretty damn ugly !

After watching the Giants / Jets preseason game last night, we have HUGE offensive issues and scarily, Chad is the best option we have. Yes, he has a week arm but he's the best we have. I'm NOT a Patrick Ramsey fan and at least I didn't have to watch him play and Clemens looked exactly what he is, a Rookie. Our problem is that we have NO running game and an unexperienced offensive line. So, at least Chad gives us leadership behind the center. Yes, he'll be sacked around 70 times this year if he lasts that long but I think Chad is our best option until the season is hopeless. Then, ya gotta let the kid play to see if he is really the future!
