Barf Barf From Last Night

1. Vinny fumbles the snap on the 2nd offensive play of the game.
2. Vinny has 2 other fumbles and was sacked twice. Kendell is taking the blame but Vinny still needs to protect the ball.
3. Total of 3 fumbles on the first 4 possessions leading to a 17 point deficit.
4. The offensive line didn't protect the QB.
5. The offensive line didn't create any holes for the rushing game.
6. Clock management at the end of the half was terrible. We could have had 2 more plays from mid field if they were ready.
7. We got screwed out of a time out by the officials.
8. Bollinger's last drive took over 6 minutes off the clock to not score. They were not in any rush for some reason.
9. There was a Justin Miller kickoff return called back for a penality by Kenyatta Wright behind the play that was so stupid.
10. There were two completions called back due to offensive pass interference.
11. Testaverde strained his right Achilles' tendon and left the game in the third quarter.
12. The Jets (2-5) have lost six straight road games, their longest such streak since the Rich Kotite era.
13. On defense the Jets have allowed 382 yards rushing in the past two games -- against the Falcons and Bills.
14. The Jets lost linebacker Eric Barton (torn triceps) for the season. He got injured in the first quarter on his first play back.
15. Running back Curtis Martin was held to 28 yards on 14 carries.
16. Laveranues Coles suffered an elbow injury. The extent of the injury isn't known.
17. Also pathetic was wth a minute left in the first half, the Jets actually helped the Falcons overturn a 12-yard pass completion by Testaverde. The play set up the Jets at the Falcons 40-yard line with enough time to move into field-goal range. But confusion reigned on the Jets sideline, and Testaverde burned the Jets final time out. Replays of the play were shown on the scoreboard screens several times, leading Falcons coach Jim Mora to challenge the play. It was overturned, and the Jets had to punt.
18. This season, the Jets have been outscored in the first quarter, 40-7
19. When Testaverde bobbled the snap from Kendall on the Jets' second play from scrimmage, it was the team's 19th fumble this year - as many as they had all of last season.
